Procedural layouts.
Most rooms are assembled into a new layout each run. The four-trainer gauntlet and Boss Room always wait at the end.

ASOBIMON EXPEDITION / CLOSED BETA
One Asobimon.
A fresh run.
Make every choice count.
Build a party through captures. Read a changing floor. Decide how much you can risk before the Boss Trainer.

THE RUN / A FIELD GUIDE
Each floor begins here. One NPC handles shopping and HP restoration, while another tells you which two room themes are on the floor.
Move directly between connected rooms, investigate side paths, and backtrack freely.
Find encounters, make captures, and manage six party spaces.
Events, shrines, and weather modifiers change what you encounter.
Protect health and mana while deciding when to spend money, items, and capture cards.
Clear four unavoidable trainers in the room before the boss, then take what remains into the final fight.
Most rooms are assembled into a new layout each run. The four-trainer gauntlet and Boss Room always wait at the end.
Each floor chooses two room themes, such as Woodland and Mountain.
Rooms can gain special conditions that change their atmosphere or encounters.
Rain falls across the room.
Lightning strikes across the room with its own audio.
Visibility drops and familiar paths become harder to read.
The room shifts to nighttime.
The room takes on a warped version of its floor theme.

WHAT’S IN THE NEXT ROOM?
Grass holds wild encounters. Rooms can also spawn powerful wandering Asobimon, trainers, shrines, events, or items.
THE JOURNEY
Walk through the grass to encounter wild Asobimon and find possible additions to the party.
Special, powerful Asobimon can spawn walking around the overworld where you can see them before engaging.
A trainer can spawn in a room and turn exploration into a battle.
Items can appear in rooms and reward checking paths away from the shortest route.
Shrines can periodically appear and follow their own rules.
Events can introduce a choice, a trade, or an unexpected consequence.
THE FINAL STRETCH
The room before the boss is a trainer gauntlet with four unavoidable battles.
Whatever survives the gauntlet goes into the floor’s final fight.
BACK AT THE START

The same NPC sells limited supplies and restores HP for a price.

A second NPC tells you which two room themes, such as Woodland and Mountain, are present on the floor.
EVENTS / A DIFFERENT KIND OF ENCOUNTER
When an event spawns, it can trade information, resources, health, or money for a new option. Leaving is also a choice.

Pay for a strength boost, then accept the damage the rough dose causes.
Pay to reveal the rest of the current floor, or keep your money and continue with what you know.
Choose one party member for a scan. The result can respond to its condition, origin, or strength.

Pay to open it safely or ask a teammate to force the seal and take damage for the attempt.
BUILD YOUR RUN
During a run you can catch new Asobimon, gain DVs, find and use items, spend money, choose when to recover, and shape a team for the floor boss. The Deck cannot be opened once the Expedition begins. If the party is full, another capture means releasing someone first.

RUN RESOURCES
Reaching the boss is not enough. You need a party that can still fight when it gets there.
THE FLOOR BOSS

Winning completes the floor and presents the choice to exfil or keep going. Floor 2 is not playable in the closed beta, so continuing ends the run.
WHAT CARRIES FORWARD
Newly captured Asobimon remain at risk during the run. After defeating the boss, a safe return to the hub registers every captured teammate to your collection. A defeat before exfil loses unsecured captures.
DV growth earned on a floor becomes secure when that floor’s boss is defeated, even if you choose to continue rather than exfil immediately.
Run levels are synchronized back to Expedition’s base level when an Asobimon returns to the hub. The secured dedication behind that growth remains.
The floor-complete screen records encounters, trainers, captures, events, rooms, money, time, and secured monsters.
BACK AT THE HUB

Staff explain floor themes, modifiers, and how Expedition growth works.
Every Asobimon that returns to the hub is fully treated.
The Explorer Lodge offers run advice.
The Return Center registers safely returned captures.
CURRENT BUILD / ROAD AHEAD
Asobimon Expedition is in closed beta. One complete procedural floor is playable, while the full eight-floor game is still being built. More rooms, content, art, balance, and the remaining seven floors are in development.
No release date is being promised. The development notebook tracks what is finished, what is active, and what comes later.
